IRS Rebuild · Restoration Done, Time to Rebuild
The Contractor Who Rebuilds After Restoration
The water, fire, or mold damage has been dried, cleaned, and torn out. Now your home sits gutted and the company that did that work is gone. IRS Rebuild takes it from there: framing, drywall, mechanicals, flooring, cabinetry, paint, and the final walkthrough.
It does not matter who handled your restoration. We work from your existing insurance claim, write the rebuild scope in Xactimate, and manage every trade in house. See how the handoff works.

The IRS Difference
Restoration Is Done. Who Rebuilds?
Most restoration companies stop at drying and demolition. From there, you're handed a list of contractors, told to gather new bids, and left to manage a second insurance conversation while your home sits gutted. That gap is where most rebuilds stall for weeks or months.
We built our business around that gap. Bring us the restoration paperwork, photos, and insurance estimate you already have, and we turn it into an approved rebuild scope and a real schedule. One licensed contractor, in-house crews, and one project manager through the final walkthrough. Common Rebuild Questions
Can you rebuild if another company did my water, fire, or mold restoration?+
Yes. Most of our rebuilds are projects where a different company handled the drying, cleanup, or demolition and then left. We pick the project up from there, review the existing insurance scope, and complete the full reconstruction.
What is post-disaster reconstruction?+
Post-disaster reconstruction is the structural and finish rebuild that happens after emergency mitigation (drying, demo, board-up). It includes framing, drywall, mechanicals, flooring, cabinetry, paint, and every other trade required to restore a property to pre-loss condition, or better.
How is IRS Rebuild different from a typical general contractor?+
We rebuild insurance losses every day, so we speak the carrier's language. We write estimates in Xactimate, file supplements for damage found during demolition, and manage every trade in house, whether we handled your mitigation or another company did.
Do you work directly with my insurance company?+
Yes. We write all estimates in Xactimate, communicate directly with your adjuster, file supplemental claims for hidden damage discovered during demolition, and bill your carrier directly. Most homeowners pay only their deductible.
Where does IRS Rebuild operate?+
We serve five regional markets: Middle Tennessee (Nashville and surrounding counties), Central Kentucky (Lexington and the Bluegrass region), the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in North Texas, the Houston metroplex on the Gulf Coast, and Central Ohio (Columbus and the surrounding counties).
How quickly can you start a rebuild?+
Once restoration is complete, we can usually inspect within a few days and start reconstruction within days of insurance scope approval. Single-room rebuilds usually finish in 3 to 6 weeks; whole-home rebuilds in 3 to 6 months depending on scope.
